I put myself on web imprisonment because I took a 14 months to a do a project that was supposed to be done in 5. I felt like I couldn’t possibly waste more time on the web than I already was. But now that the site is live, it is like a gorilla lifted off my shoulders. I am free to market on the web like never before!

So… there are so may cool things happening it is hard to know what to focus on.

Here is the list:

Gurunam Singh, who I work with here, released the best album so far this year with his Journey Home.
I was so moved by it, I decided to take on promoting his tour. It was that good!

So far we have 13 gigs in May with signed contracts and another 5-7 in the works. He is starting in Florida and then moving his way north all the way to boston and then into Canada. I am super excited about it.

Then we are working on a Kundalini Yoga catalog, that I was hoping would be the Peterman catalog on yoga. It is not shaping up quite like that yet :) , but it is going to feature articles about yoga teachers, tips, recommendations of items and all the new releases that come out in summer solstice.

Check out the cover here. This was the first go at it. There was something missing though. So we made a few changes and here was the second round.

Summer Solstice 08 Catalog

Different vibe to it right?

What else… So the site…. the web has kind of arrived to the “unique experience” phase, where you have to deliver what people want and nothing else. My intention for spiritvoyage is to deliver for each user- only the items you haven’t bought and only what you want to see, and only the events you want to see; the best yoga teachers in a city, the best retreats, the best studios, the best teacher training programs, the best articles on yoga/ meditation/ music.   And the way to do that is to provide the platform that everyone else can leverage.
